An engagement party where two families actually meet

Your side, their side, and the friends in between. Collect both families with one link, build one guest list, seat everyone, and help people learn names before the toasts begin.

How it works

Four steps, most of them a tap.

  1. Ask each side for their familySend your future mother-in-law a link. She types names for parents, brothers and sisters, kids, and partners. No account needed.
  2. Review and addHer answers wait for your OK, then show up in your family web, already connected.
  3. Seat both familiesDraft the guest list and tables in minutes, with partners together and exes apart.
  4. Break the iceShare an Ice Breaker so guests add a card about themselves, and everyone knows a few names before arriving.

Get the other family right, without the phone call

Every family has its own nicknames, second marriages, and relatives nobody mentioned. Let them tell you directly.

  • Your personal note sits at the top of the form, so it’s clearly from you.
  • They tick “passed away” for anyone no longer with us, so nobody is invited by mistake.
  • Ask your own questions too, like “What would you like to be called at the party?”
  • Nothing is saved until you review it.

Seating that respects both sides

Tables come out grouped by family, with friends filling the gaps. Then you drag people around until it feels right.

  • Both families in one picture, with the couple at the center.
  • Alerts for exes at the same table or kids away from their parents.
  • A guest page with a QR code so people find their seats.

Questions

Does my fiancé’s family need to sign up?

No. The family form and the Ice Breaker both work in a browser without an account. If they like it, they can keep what they wrote as their own free plaza.

What if their family is complicated?

That’s what it’s built for: second marriages, half-siblings, step-parents, adoption, and relatives who’ve passed away all have a place in the family web.

Can we use it for the wedding too?

Yes. The same guest list and family web carry over, so the wedding seating chart starts where the engagement party left off.

Is it free?

Yes. People Plaza is free and supported by quiet picture ads that never play sound or cover what you’re using.

Ready when you are

Free, private, and it takes a minute to start.
